Travel agency Jet2holidays collaborated with The Telegraph to boost tourism to Turkey's beaches after the 2016 terror attack by showcasing their resorts as safe and inviting in 2019. The task was to create an engaging interactive map hosted on The Telegraph's website, aiming to assist readers in discovering the top resorts and attractions across the country for their next holiday.
I meticulously designed the interactive tool, with a keen focus on optimising user experience and crafting an intuitive user interface. To improve usability, I integrated user-friendly navigation tools at the top of each menu, and I organised the resorts into clearly defined sections for effortless reference.
The interactive map served as a gateway to explore Turkey's finest destinations, offering a wealth of information for travellers. Additionally, these top Turkish hotspots were prominently featured articles published in The Telegraph Magazine, providing readers with comprehensive insights and enticing them to explore the diverse beauty and experiences Turkey had to offer. This collaborative effort between Jet2Holidays and The Telegraph played a pivotal role in rejuvenating tourism in Turkey and promoting its appeal as a safe and captivating destination for travellers in 2019.
